As far as I’m concerned, there is only one single “locality” in the town worth mentioning. The CASABLANCA. Of course there are other bars and possibilities. There is the FLORIDA NIGHTCLUB, which I didn’t like that much, only went there once, was accompanied by a girl. The waitresses were unfriendly, the drinks expensive, the show average at the very most and to put the cream on the cake, the bill the end was completely wrong. Taking photos is forbidden. If I was you, I wouldn’t visit the small knocking shops and bars, much too dangerous. One shouldn’t push ones luck too far, particularly because these places don’t have that much to offer at all, apart from warm beer and shagged out whores.

On the way out to Bamburi beach there is the highly recommendable TEMBO DISCO, supposed to be the largest disco in East Africa.

Before that there is BOB’S, forget IMHO. The scene is for Africans, they want to be amongst themselves. Even though one could have a bit of luck, it’s not the right place for pulling whores, the same with the food, tough and no spices, typical Kenyan. Costs extra, just mentioned it to round things off.
