The Kendas Bar is connected to a cheap hotel (not to be mistaken with “my” Short Time hotel the KENDAS VILLAGE HOTEL). Am only mentioning the Kendas Bar to keep things complete. Is situated in Mtwapa, about 100 metres past the Casaurina you turn of to your right, just past the post office. A taxi is recommendable during the evening, it’s not quite clear where one should go and it’s pretty dark. A really terrible place. The service staff are very very unfriendly… Of course I didn’t give them a tip, and after visiting for the first time, I never went back there again. I had just bought my current fiancée a load of “new clothes”, you know, the “Small red bit” and the blond wig which promptly fell from her head as she was dancing, this naturally provoked a general bout of laughter. But nobody takes such things all that seriously, Cheers…
