A stroll around the mega metropolis? I know, is quite exhausting when hot. Luckily enough here and there, there are place to cool down, air conditioned bars and restaurants.
So let’s get going: “Old German Beer-House” down the Suk Soi 11, right opposite the “Grand President”. The Sukhumvit Road with its sales stalls and junk shops, the small Thai “Spirit Houses” should not be missing in the capital city either, especially not here – where should all the ghosts live? Those who are driven away when houses are built – The Chaopraya River, Bangkok’s vital line with all its Klongs (canals) and branches, a temple, more from further away but more or less passed by rather than visited. Chinatown with it’s not so typical for the country influences from the country of the hard working (and very business efficient) Chinese.
